Terms for SkillsStack

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to subscriptions for SkillsStack supplied by Fabian Faraz Farid. Provider contact details appear in the Imprint.

2. The service

SkillsStack converts accessible YouTube transcripts into cited Markdown notes or AI-agent skill files. A current browser, internet access, an accessible public YouTube video, and cookies enabled for the access cookie are required. AI-generated output can contain errors and should be reviewed before use.

3. Subscription and price

The Maker plan costs US$9 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled. The final total, billing interval, available payment methods, and any applicable taxes are shown by Stripe before the order is submitted. Access starts after Stripe confirms successful Checkout.

4. Access without a user account

Access is linked to a signed, strictly necessary browser cookie and verified against the active Stripe subscription for each use. If the cookie is deleted or another device is used, contact us or use the Stripe customer portal login flow to restore billing access.

5. Your responsibilities

You may submit only videos and transcript material you are entitled to process. You must not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, platform rules, or other rights; probe or disrupt the service; circumvent paid access; or use generated output unlawfully.

6. Term and cancellation

The contract runs month to month. You can cancel at any time with effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The dedicated cancellation page remains directly accessible from every page.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. By accepting these terms during Stripe Checkout, you expressly request that access begin immediately, before that withdrawal period expires. Instructions, the consequences of requesting immediate performance, and a model form are available on the withdrawal page. This does not limit your separate right to cancel future subscription renewals.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access, particularly where YouTube, transcript sources, OpenAI, Stripe, or hosting services are unavailable. Material changes affecting an active consumer subscription will be communicated where legally required.

9. Statutory rights and liability

Mandatory consumer rights, statutory conformity rights for digital products, and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or other mandatory liability.

10. Governing law

German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence.
